Mr. Buscovich is a licensed structural engineer in the State of California with 20 years experience in structural engineering projects. Since graduating from the University of California, Berkeley with a Master of Engineering in 1979, he has specialized in seismic analysis and design for Bay Area projects. Projects include the Marin Civic Center, Orpheum Theater and Plaza Renovations at 1, 50 and 555 California Street. Mr. Buscovich also specializes in code consultation on the San Francisco Building Code to clients and other engineers. He is the author or co-author of numerous portion of the San Francisco Building Code including sections dealing with the earthquake damage trigger, UMB retrofit standards, seismic upgrade requirement and the UMB Board of Appeals.
